Call of an Angel Extraordinary encounters with angels by an ordinary working mum edition by Patricia O'Toole Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

Never can have enough stories of Angels and helpful humans and nature spirits! I was a bit skeptical of this unheard of authors story, but have to say was won over by the details and resonance with other experiences I have heard described. Thanks to the Author for her courage in writing and willingness to be an instrument for the betterment of all concerned.
Call Of An Angel is a non-fiction, spirituality book and is ideal for those who believe in connections to angels and the energies of the universe.

Written from the author’s own experiences and set mainly in a rural Irish location, this book follows the chance awakening of the author’s spiritual channels. I enjoyed the journey, especially the chapters about connecting with nature, healing animals, and planting a garden, then a wood, for nature to thrive in.

The book is inspiring on many levels; it may be that a reader has their own angelic stories, or that they want to do more to save the world we live in. I’m glad the author persevered and brought this book to fruition; may it be the first of many.
Call of an Angel is a non-fiction book which covers a woman’s early experiences with angels and spirits, how her abilities to see them improved over time and how it impacted and shaped her life and that of her sons, as well as covering topics such as fairies, orbs, auras and chakras.

This book brought out the girl in me. It reminded me of my own childhood experiences and dreams of fairies and spirits. Apparently I used to talk to a particular corner of the ceiling in the living room when I was a baby. Goodness knows what I saw. I do wish I could remember, but I was far too young. Then there were a few unusual things that happened in our house shortly after my childhood dog died, and the couple of years as a teenager when I saw shadow figures walking across my bedroom at night, and my great grandma coming to me in a dream the night she died. I’m sure someone with a non-believing mind will have logical ways of explaining all these things, but I’m not interested. All of these things are my personal memories, and I choose to believe there is more to life than just the obvious and logically explained aspects the majority of people choose to accept.

I love trees and hugging them. There is something magical about them, especially when I’m surrounded by them in woods or forests. It’s hard to explain, but as soon as I enter the woods, I feel like I’ve left my normal life behind. They feel so magical and incredibly calming. I suppose I’ve always felt at one with nature, be it growing vegetables, gardening, flowers, trees, frogs, birds, bees and country walks. I would choose nature over modern technology any day (well, except for my perhaps).

Overall this was an enjoyable and interesting read, and definitely one I’d recommend if you’re interested in angels and spirits and how we as living humans may be able to connect with them. I would say it is written more in the style of a memoir than a self-help book. However, it made me realise how much more connected with nature I was when I was younger, before ill health and work commitments got in the way. It has inspired me to try harder to connect with nature and work towards a healthier balance within myself. Perhaps one day I’ll even go to a spiritual day or workshop like those mentioned in this book. Who knows, it may change my life.
Well written, very imaginative, but too much like other similar books. This where I stopped reading this book, page 154, it is making me sick, it so gruesome. So totally negative and ugly. Just mean now. Ive heard these stories many times. I believe we are all sort of puppets being manipulated by higher beings, neither good nor bad, but neutral with their own agenda. It is impossible to know who or what to believe. The human brain is a creative computer, creating myriads of worlds and beings. Blah blah blah 😇😈😇😈😇 who knows anything for sure. Good try though Patricia O'Toole 👍 A for effort. I liked it in many parts, and do believe in angels, faeries, and beings from other dimensions, but do believe they lie to us as humans lie to each other. I believe free will is a lie. Communication is a hard thing to decipher. I do love fantasy and believe we live in more than 3 dimensions. And I read this book as more fantasy/fiction. Interesting until it went overboard with the ruination of all animals, etc. I think we are in better communication with our furry friends than ever before. Yes there is much evil, I live a big USA city with so much crime. I choose not to let it in tho. Hopefully 🙏 THANKS!
Five stars, made me think of things I need to do and be more aware of. I believe. You won't be disappointed.
Opens up a lot of answers for me
Thank you for writing & publishing your book! Love this!
