I have to admit I had never heard of this author until stumbling upon this book. I said why not and decided to read it. Within the first two chapters I always already in love with this book. It keep me guessing and wanting to know more! I had a hard time putting my kindle down at night because I wanted to keep reading. The author definitely puts a good ending on this book. After reading this book I continued with the series and I have now read all the book and am waiting for the fourth to come out (on March 31st). I love J. Lynn, she is an amazing writer. She hits all the spots perfectly meaning love, romance, sex, and drama all wrapped into one amazing book and series!! I would definitely recommend this book to people who love an even mix. It will pull you in!

It was a struggle for me to finish this book. The writing was good. The characters were well developed. From a technical standpoint there was nothing wrong with the book. The problem I had was that I wasn't very fond of the main characters. I understood that Jace had deep issues that he struggled with but he was such a douche to Teresa but why not? She more or less let him. Every time I thought she was going to stand her ground she would back down and start telling him how much he meant to her and that he had to feel it, too. Her boundaries were weak and she let him walk right over them. He never once had to truly grovel or work to win her trust. That being said, I did finish it but I can't say I really liked it.

One other thing bothered me. Jace's parents used the word "ain't" frequently. I am guessing this was to make them seem down to earth. I see that as an insult. Down to earth does not mean unintelligent or uneducated.

I was only able to rate this book three stars.
Surprise surprise I ended up loving another JLA story. I’m a huge fan of JLA so its no surprise that I would enjoy reading Be with Me. I am super behind on this series, mostly because I didn’t think I would like any other story besides Cams and Avery’s. I should have known JLA wouldn’t let me down. I really enjoyed this story a lot.

Teresa/Tess has always wanted to be a professional dancer. Then she had an injury and is now attending college with her brother and his best friend/her long time crush Jase. After sharing a passionate kiss a couple years ago Tess hasn’t forgotten Jase and Jase hasn’t forgotten Tess either, no matter how hard he’s tried. Jase has a secret that he’s afraid to let anyone know about, especially Tess. Tess doesn’t want to stay in college, she just wants to get better even though the more time she spends with Jase the less sure she is that she wants to leave. In the background of their romance Tess’ roommate is dealing with an abusive boyfriend, which brings a lot of things back for Tess making her want to do everything she can to help.

Tess is a strong character who has dealt with a lot of pain in her life. In Wait for Me we learned about her abusive boyfriend and how that situation ended for Cam. Now in Be with Me we get to see the story from Tess’ perspective and she has a lot of guilt over what happened. I think Tess grows a lot in this story. I didn’t really like her completely in the beginning but she showed her strength and her story is so real and relatable that I couldn’t help but like her.

Jase’s story was completely unexpected to me. I honestly did not see the secret he had there at all. It’s completely sad and made me love him so much. I really had the feels and the hots for Jase. He’s yummy.

Be with Me was great and beautifully tragic. It’s hard to read at times because some of the emotions just flow off the page and feel so real. Another great job by J. Lynn.
This was a highly anticipated book for me and I couldn't wait to get off work last night to read it. I stayed up way too late to finish it and when it was over, I was left feeling a tad let-down.

Jase's secret is obvious from page one (literally!) but luckily we don't have to wait too, too long for him to make the big reveal to Teresa. These two have chemistry from the get-go, but Jase spends 98% of the book fighting his own attraction. So when these two FINALLY get together, it's sexy, sexy, sexy...of course, Jase has to go and blow it with the obligatory break-up. (Side bar - I felt this was a bit contrived and almost thrown in as an afterthought. And even while my heart was breaking for Teresa, I wanted to throttle Jase for doing this to her!)

I hope J. Lynn does NOT write this same story from Jase's POV - if she wants to tell both sides, she should start writing dual POV novels. I will keep this in my "to read again" pile and look for the print version to read the extra scene between Cam & Avery (possibly their aborted weekend in the Poconos?).
